The Academic Pointe, Inc. opened its newest facility in April 2010 and is currently servicing the needs of students of ALL levels.
Zach has earned two degrees from two top-20 national universities, including a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Science degree in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis. In addition, Zach has earned a perfect score of 800 on the Mathematics section of the SAT and currently directs the SAT/ACT preparation program here at The Academic Pointe. Zach is an Academic Honors graduate of St. Thomas More School and Munster High School. |

Mike Graczyk Instructor

Ball State University Transition to Teach Program Calumet College at St. Joseph Instruction Areas: High School Math, Gr. 9-12 --Algebra 1 --Geometry --Algebra 2 --Pre-Calculus --AP Calculus --AP Statistics SAT & ACT Preparation Mike Graczyk joined the Academic Pointe team in December 2010 and tutors in both mathematics and writing and edits English papers and college application essays. A graduate of Ball State University, Mike finished his studies in actuarial science and creative writing in May 2010. Along the way, Mike studied a wide variety of math courses including calculus, probability, statistics, discrete mathematics, linear algebra, interest theory, and life contingencies(the mathematics of insurance).
He wrote a capstone paper on the discovery and history of prime numbers for his senior seminar. In addition, Mike has written several English papers throughout his college career, presenting two on classic literature at Butler University's Undergraduate Research Conference in 2007 and 2008. His honors thesis was a collection of poetry and short stories, some of which were published in on-campus literary magazines. He has also contributed word and number puzzles to GAMES magazine since 2008. |
